Terms & Conditions - APPLICABLE TO SHORT LETS ONLY

By booking online you and your party acknowledge and agree to our Terms & Conditions.

(All rates are quoted in GBP -Pound Sterling)

1. RATES:

The quoted weekly rate includes all utility bills (gas, electricity, water and council tax), one set of bed linen & towels, television licence as well as local and government taxes.

The rate does not include telephone call charges which will be deducted from the security deposit at the end of the tenancy term (only applicable where a telephone line is available and has been requested).

Please note that the basic rate does not include any maid or cleaning services. The flat will be cleaned prior to your check in and there is an exit cleaning charge of £20. Regular cleaning arrangements (weekly/bi-weekly) can be made at additional cost if required.

2. MAKING A BOOKING:

A booking will be confirmed by us only upon receipt of a completed booking form and payment. The form may be submitted online, emailed or faxed.

On receipt of the completed booking form and payment a confirmation notification will be sent to you via email or fax.

3. SECURITY DEPOSIT*:

Security deposits will be taken in the following instances, in advance with the initial payment):

Stays of less than 2 weeks = security deposit required £200 (full payment required in advance).
Stays of 2-4 weeks = security deposit required £300 (full payment required in advance).
Stays of 4-12 weeks = security deposit required £400.
Stays of more than 12 weeks = 4 weeks rent.

The security deposit less any deductions (if applicable) will be refunded on your check out from the property. The deposit is not refundable if the booking is cancelled less than 45 days prior to your arrival date (please see section below on cancellations).

4. PAYMENT*:

Initial payment will be requested and should be made at least 4 weeks prior to your arrival:

Stays of less than 2 weeks = full payment required at time of booking.
Stays of 2-4 weeks = full payment required at time of booking.
Stays of more than 4 weeks = 50% initial payment at the time of booking and the balance to paid 2 weeks prior to your arrival.
Stays of 12 weeks or more = initial payment at time of booking followed by monthly payment 1 month in advance.

Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Banker’s Draft, Cheque or Credit Card via PAYPAL or Worldpay. All bank/credit card charges are to be borne by client unless agreed otherwise in writing.

5. CANCELLTION:

The following charges are applicable for cancellation of bookings after full payment has been made:

45 days or more prior to arrival = no charge.
30 days or more prior to arrival = 1 weeks rent will be deducted.
15 days or less prior to arrival = no refund will be made.

In the situation of a no show or for any unused portion of the stay no refund will be issued. Furthermore, 48 hours after the booking period commences CS Management reserve the right to rent the apartment to another party.

NOTES:

*Please note that all security deposits and payments must be made in Pounds Sterling (GBP). Any bank charges to be borne by client.

Early morning arrivals

You must advise us to book from the night before in order to guarantee access to the apartment before 1 pm.

Apartment Rental conditions

Check-in: No earlier than 1 pm on day of arrival – unless otherwise agreed prior to arrival in writing.

Check-out: No later than 12 noon on departure day – unless otherwise agreed prior to arrival in writing.

Loss or Damage

Any loss or damage in the apartment will be charged to your account, whether accidental or deliberate. Due care and attention is advised at all times. Although end of tenancy cleaning is not included in the price, unless otherwise stated, if the apartment is left in an unusual untidy condition, a local extra charge will be imposed.

Lost Keys

If keys are not returned the cost of a new locking system (£45.00) will be deducted from the deposit.

No Smoking Policy

Please note that CS Management adhere to and insist on a strict non-smoking policy in all of our rented accommodation.

Maximum Occupancy

Please note the occupancy of the apartment cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. Additional guests must not be accommodated and failure to inform CS Management can render the reservation as cancelled and no refund will be given.

Telephone Charges

All costs accrued for the use of the telephone (line rental + cost of calls) including any dial-up internet access will be charged to your account.

Acceptance of booking

Booking can only be accepted on receipt of completed booking form, payment and acceptance of booking by Chelsea Studios.

Chelsea Studios reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.

In the very unlikely event that the apartment owner cannot provide the booked accommodation, the client understands that the apartment owner’s responsibility is to find alternative accommodation of at least a similar monetary value, and provide transportation as appropriate to this alternative accommodation. Every effort will be made to ensure that apartment descriptions are accurate and drawn from owners’ own material. If a customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of the apartment, this must be brought to the attention of CS Management in writing and CS Management must be given reasonable opportunity to rectify the matter.

Comprehensive travel insurance is recommended as you may be able to claim under the cancellation section of the policy.
